COMMUNITY

Creating value for the surrounding communities is one of the objectives of our sustainability strategy. At OMA, we focus on promoting the development of our stakeholders, and we strive to create a positive impact on the communities where we operate, with a long-term vision.

For the Company, being a good neighbor means implementing programs that focus on identifying solutions for locations experiencing problems. We seek to be an ally for communities, while also framing our positive impact within the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda.

As part of the activities we carry out for the benefit of the community, in 2024, 15 visits were made to show students from different schools and universities how our airports work.

OMA believes in the importance of consistently reinforcing its corporate values through corporate volunteering. In addition to supporting solutions to social and environmental challenges in our communities, volunteering also helps foster a sense of belonging and builds interpersonal skills such as personal social responsibility, trust, critical thinking, teamwork, proactivity, passion, motivation, and empathy. During 2024, we organized 8 volunteering activities across 7 of our airports.

OMA has an in-kind and in-cash donations program that focuses on social organizations that support various causes. We prioritize donations to institutions that are not connected to our airports.

In order to contribute to cultural, human, and social development, in addition to the overall training provided to employees, the airport community, passengers, guests, and society as a whole, OMA sponsors activities that support culture and the arts.

For OMA, it is important to encourage and celebrate the traditions and customs that are part of our rich cultural heritage. To raise awareness among our employee team about the relevance of domestic and international festivities, OMA supports commemorations in which values are transmitted and organizational culture is strengthened.

During 2024, different recreational activities and related events were organized at all our airports, impacting 1,159 employees.

As part of our commitment to the community, we performed activities to support various at-risk groups by purchasing support material for sick people, and by paying for medical services.

We also organized activities that support equal opportunities for at-risk sectors, such as: discussions, communications, and sales of inclusive art created by people with disabilities, to name just a few.
